Can someone still be a part of the Chamber even though they do not own or represent a business?

 

First of all, we should review eligibility for membership. Taken from our Bylaws, any profit or non-profit business entity whose owner, partner, or executive officer resides in Bayville can join the chamber as an active member with voting rights. Bayville residents who are not business owners may become Friends of the Chamber or Associative Members of the chamber based upon their desire to see the organization succeed in its quest to promote economic growth to the community. As the chamber becomes more active in community events and continues to grow in the manner anticipated, FRIENDS will remain a vital source of ideas, manpower and funding enabling the implementation of programs and the success of chamber organized events.
